We are pleased to advise we are operating as normal post Cyclone Larry. Beachfront directly opposite Dunk Island and adjacent to stinger net(seasonal), boat ramp, takeaways, BYO restaurant in tropical surrounds. |

Beachcomber Coconut Caravan Village is located right on South Mission Beach which is over 14km of magnificent golden beachfront. Directly offshore are the group of islands which include the beautiful Dunk and Bedarra Islands.
The Great Barrier Reef is only an hour away – snorkel or scuba dive the reef from right here in Mission Beach. Bus pick-up from the park is an optional extra.
White water rafting in Tully – only 24kms away is regarded as the best rafting river in Australia, and is only 15 minutes drive from South Mission Beach.
Experience an exhilarating skydive from 10,000ft with up to 1 minute of freefall and spectacular views of the Great Barrier Reef and islands. Enjoy a smooth landing onto one of Australia's best drop zones right here at South Mission Beach.
Jet Ski Tours to Dunk Island offer two hours of fun-filled excitement riding around this beautiful island. A professional guide will take you to secluded beaches and show the natural wonders of this tropical paradise.
Go Sea Kayaking on a half or full day trip to Dunk Island. Glide silently over the fringing reef, spot turtles and dolphins, relax on white sandy beaches, snorkel or enjoy a stroll through the rainforest.
Reef fishing on the Great Barrier Reef is another option available from South Mission Beach. Small charter groups are available on 7.5m Sailfish Platinum Series boats. |

The Village has a fantastic resort style Pool with Waterslide, water mushroom and two Balinese huts in beautifully landscaped gardens. We have a modern Playground area under colourful shadesails, half Tennis and Basketball court, as well as Bocce. We also offer a Recreation room with air hockey, pool table and pinball machines and a large TV Room.
We also have activities located on Mission Beach – right outside our front door! These include catamaran hire, tinny hire, kayak hire, scuba diving and long lazy beach walks on the pathways along the foreshore. |

Facilities include a Camp Kitchen, TV room, Games Room, Barbeques, Boat Hire, water taxi to Dunk Island, and stinger resistant swimming enclosure in front of the park (for summer months). The park offers an internet kiosk and Net4 Wireless Internet.
Beachcomber Restaurant and takeaway is BYO and is open 7 days a week from 7am to 8pm. Roast night is Wednesday night and if you would prefer your evening meal delivered to your cabin or van, we would be happy to oblige. |
